Roasted coffee packaging
Ricks Roasters hired Pig Iron to redesign their coffee packaging to be more consumer friendly and approachable while also improving overall brand recognition on shelves. The new brand incorporates a knot motif from their previous identity and pairs it with bold, highly legible text to be effectively spotted from a distance. We developed a packaging system that leverages bright, vibrant colors, a smooth wave shape, and a custom etched-style coffee bean illustration that was created in-house to instantly connect all the products together. Each variety has its own distinct color for at-a-glance identification. A simple system for identifying roast level and grind completes the package.
