Media Usage Infographic: Information Design
Charts two weeks of personal media usage using information gathered by the artist. Displays information by the hour in a bar graph, with color-coded sections for each type of media used.
An additional circle graph displays time spent using overlapping types of media. There are three main types of media here, indicated by three large sections of color. Each of these three pieces represents the total time spent using this media type. The small sections that overlap these larger pieces represent the time spent using the main media type AND secondary media types at the same time. The size of each of these sections represents the time spent using each type of media.
For example: I used seven separate media types WHILE watching TV (shown in magenta).
